Our focus

While our current priority is completing the outdoor court facility, we also:

• Build community, one game at a time

• Offer social events and foster friendships

• Increase youth outreach while making sure players of all ages and abilities feel welcomed

• Conduct competitive events for members and visitors

• Offer clinics and training events to current players and those new to the sport

• Support our community by giving to local charities

Our history

• 2026 - Added picnic tables with shade

• 2025 - In a public-private partnership with the Rabun County Board of Commissioners, RPC completed the build of an outdoor 10-court pickleball facility for the community 

• 2023 to 2025 - Raised almost $300,000 for the outdoor court project

• 2022 - Obtained 501(c)(3) status and fundraising began in earnest

• 2017 - First tournament hosted

• 2015 - First began playing in the rec department gym
